HISTORY Ward, Fisher & Company, LLP, founded in or about 1914, is the oldest continually practicing local accounting firm in the state of Rhode Island. The firm's founding fathers were Alfred P. Ward and Lewis G. Fisher. Over the ensuing years, the firm has had over 30 partners building a solid reputation while servicing the accounting, tax and consulting needs of southern New England individuals and businesses.
MISSION The firm's simple mission statement "to meet the needs of the business community in managing the uncertainties of operating a business in today's environment" is as valid today as it was in 1914. While the challenges may be different, the goal is the same. We endeavor to reach this objective by providing quality accounting, tax and consulting services to our clients. The single most important factor in the firm's success has been an uncompromising commitment to the highest standards of quality and professionalism.
